Guidelines for Preparation and Presentation of Posters

PREPARATION OF A POSTER

The poster should be a visual presentation of your completed work that was proposed in your synopsis. Posters should be brought to the Conference in hard copy and also uploaded to INDICO electronically. It is not necessary to complete a full paper if you are preparing a poster.

Posters should meet the following criteria:

Poster Size

All posters should be in portrait format and size: A0 (1189 mm high and 841 mm wide).

Format

The poster should be easily readable at a distance of two metres. Use UPPER and lower case for general content, as all-capital text is difficult to read. Avoid using mixtures of type/font styles.

Please be aware that all display material should be prepared in advance. It is not possible to print posters at the conference site. Pins for mounting posters are available on-site.

A template with a recommended format for posters can be downloaded using this LINK.

*In the "Poster Ref. no." slot, the file ID should be inserted. Please refer to the [Naming Convention] guidelines on the left menu for more information on your file ID.

PRESENTATION AT THE MEETING

Authors are requested to affix their hard-copy posters on the board bearing the related paper number at the Poster Exhibition area which has been assigend to them. Further details on the location of the Poster Exhibition Areas will be sent to Poster authors closer to the time of the Conference. Should you require any assistance, please contact the Conference Team for Assistance (CN-295@iaea.org).
