Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

Announcement Deadline of abstract submission has been extended to 10 April 2018.

Before submitting an abstract, you must create an INDICO account. Use the 'Login' tab in the top right corner of the page to register. If you are already a registered INDICO user, please log into the system.

NOTE: This is not associated with the Conference Registration system and is required for all persons wishing to submit an abstract!

Concise papers on topics falling within the scope of the Symposium (see Scientific Programme for more information) may be submitted. All papers, apart from invited papers, must present original work and must not have been published elsewhere. Persons who wish to present a paper must upload an abstract (350 words maximum) in electronic format. Click ‘Submit Abstract’ to get started. Paper copies cannot be accepted. To modify a submitted abstract, click 'View My Abstracts' on the main page, select the abstract ID and click 'Modify'.

Abstracts should address one or more Key Questions, so authors should review the Key Questions within the relevant Theme and take note of which Question ID(s) the abstract will address. The abstract should give enough information on the contents of the proposed paper (papers can be up to 4 pages long) to enable it to be evaluated. The accepted abstracts will be reproduced in unedited form and will be distributed to all participants at the conference.

ABSTRACTS ARE DUE BY 10 APRIL 2018 (extended). Modifications are allowed through 15 April 2018.

It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the submitted abstracts have received any necessary clearance by the relevant governmental authorities and to complete the 'Registration Form' in this system by selecting it from the menu on the left.

Authors must further submit the Participation Form (Form A) and the Form for Submission of a Poster (Form B) to their appropriate governmental authority (see conference website) for transmission to the IAEA. These forms must be received by the IAEA no later than 10 April 2018..

Country: The country must be the same as the author's country of designation in the official registration. If the country is not present in the list, please email the organizers and we will add it.

The call for abstracts is closed.
