Description
Constitution of Iraq /Implementation Commitment. -Law of National Monitoring Authority on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Weapons No. (48) 2012
INMA is tasked to implement the following :
Follow up and Implement Iraq’s obligations related to bilateral, regional and international conventions and international resolutions relevant to non-proliferation of WMD.
Issuing and follow up effective national procedures for inspection, verification and monitoring applicable for all governmental and non-governmental organizations,
Implement export and import control measures and develop and maintain control list of materials and equipment's consisted with relevant requirements of international export control regimes.
Establishing a national data-base for these activities in coordination with the international organization to exchange data, serving the national security interests

Collection, analysis and transfer of samples inside and outside Iraq
Conventions and treaties that Iraq has signed, approved or now in Process
National Procedures for Nuclear non- proliferation system in Iraq. Safeguards Application in Iraq
Establishing a National System for Accounting and Monitoring Nuclear Materials to :
Identify nuclear material positions in and out of the nuclear facilities under Safeguards System.
Provide official permissions to use nuclear source materials inside the nuclear facilities and outside nuclear facilities (universities – research centers).
Ensure efficient physical protection for the nuclear materials.
Prepare design information for the nuclear facilities Identify records' type and container and monitoring devices.
INMA identified locations and sites which are involved in AP declaration according to our national verification.
prepared INMA national information lists of AP articles to be distributed.
All information have been collected and filled in the additional protocol forms..
Establishing the information system for all nuclear activities and Materials related to Non-Proliferation Regime.
Issuing the regulation for using, handling and transportation of The nuclear material under safeguards and Additional protocol.
Making arrangements for the prompt notifications of losses, unauthorized use, and removal of nuclear material. -Verification the National Authority -National implementation status of UNSCR 1540 (2004
