ESPACE (internal) Shaping the future of safeguards implementation (SGI) ESPACE (Tuesday)

Speaker

Ms Jacqueline Idinger (IAEA/SG/SGIM/ISD)

Description

More than ten EU Member States and NNWSs have delegated the implementation of certain provisions of the AP to the European Commission of the EC through side letters (‘side letter States’), whereas some other ‘non-side letter States’ have opted for the direct declaration to the IAEA of the parts of the AP. A deep analysis of the workflow of AP declarations is a prerequisite to adapt the PR3 software to the needs of these States and thus to support EURATOM States in their reporting in the new PR3 format. Additionally, the proposed Digital Declaration Site Map (DDSM) format for site maps attached to AP 2.a.(iii) declarations is discussed in the paper.
