Description
It is planned to make a presentation during "International Conference on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management, Decommissioning, Environmental Protection and Remediation: Ensuring Safety and Enabling Sustainability", which will cover the following issues:
- the authority of the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management as the central body of executive power, its legislative work in the field of management of the exclusion zone and the zone of unconditional (mandatory) resettlement, overcoming the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster, decommissioning the Chornobyl NPP and transforming the "Shelter" Object into environmentally safe system, as well as state management in the field of radioactive waste management at the stage of their long-term storage and disposal;
- general approach to the radioactive waste management, including its centralized long-term storage and disposal;
- questions regarding the directions of financing of enterprises that carry out their activities in the field of radioactive waste management at the stage of their storage and disposal and belong to the sphere of management of the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management;
- number of enterprises belonging to the sphere of SAUEZM management, their location and production indicators for 2022;
- total amount of radioactive waste generated in Ukraine;
- implementation of radiation monitoring of radioactive waste management facilities at enterprises belonging to the sphere of SAUEZM management.
