A welcome dinner will be held at Bicicletta Restaurant at Peppers Gallery Hotel in Acton on Tuesday 25 October at 6.30pm.
We have organised an excursion to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve https://www.tidbinbilla.act.gov.au/do/ranger-guided-activities and the Australian Parliament House https://www.aph.gov.au/ on Thursday 27 October for participants and all accompanying persons. A bus will pick us up from the ANU at 12.30 pm, where we can enjoy our packed lunch on the drive to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, when arrived we will have a guided tour and talk by one of the Rangers. We will then head back to town to the Australian Parliament House to start a guided tour at 4 pm. The journey will then go to the ANU and to the Department of Nuclear Physics and Accelerator Applications to be back at 5.30 pm where you will enjoy snacks and drinks and an option for a tour of the Heavy Ion Accelerator Facility https://hiaf.anu.edu.au/visit/
Accompanying persons are welcome to join all the events.
