Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION

Before submitting an abstract, you must create an INDICO account. Use the 'Login' tab in the top right corner of the page to register. If you are already a registered INDICO user, please log into the system.

Concise papers on topics falling within the scope of the meeting (see Scientific Programme for more information) may be submitted as contributions to the meeting. All papers, apart from invited papers, must present original work and must not have been published elsewhere. Anyone wishing to present a paper at the meeting is requested to submit an abstract of not more than 500 words in electronic format. Click ‘Submit new abstract’ to get started. Paper copies cannot be accepted.

Abstracts should address one or more Topics/Tracks, so authors should review the Topics within the Scientific Programme. The abstract should give enough information on the contents of the proposed paper to enable it to be evaluated. The accepted abstracts will be reproduced in unedited form and will be distributed to all participants at the conference.

ABSTRACTS ARE DUE BY 15 MARCH 2019

It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that the submitted abstracts have received any necessary clearance by the relevant governmental authorities.

Authors must further submit the Participation Form (Form A) and the Form for Submission of a Paper (Form B) to their appropriate governmental authority (see Info Sheet) for transmission to the IAEA. These forms must be received by the IAEA no later than 29 March 2019.

Country: The country must be the same as the author's country of designation in the official registration. If the country is not present in the list, please email the organizers and we will add it.

EXPENDITURES AND GRANTS

The IAEA is generally not in a position to bear the travel and other costs of participants in the event. The IAEA has, however, limited funds at its disposal to help meet the cost of attendance of certain participants. Upon specific request, such assistance may be offered to normally one participant per country, provided that, in the IAEA’s view, the participant will make an important contribution to the event. The application for financial support should:

  • Be received by the IAEA by 29 March 2019;

  • Include a completed and signed Participation Form (Form A) and the
    abstract of the paper to be presented; and

  • Include a completed, stamped and signed Grant Application Form (Form C).

Applications that do not comply with the conditions mentioned above cannot be considered.

Grant awards will be announced by 15 April 2019.
