Submission deadline
Anyone wishing to submit a paper to the Symposium is requested to submit first an abstract of 150 to 200 words in electronic format.
Abstracts must be submitted through this system by 15 April 2026, Midnight, Vienna Time.
The abstract should give enough information on the contents of the proposed paper to enable the Programme Committee to evaluate it. Authors should carefully consider and state which topic (i.e., Track in INDICO) outlined in the Announcement and Call for Papers (Section C) that their contribution relates to. Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts as early as possible. Introductory and general matters should not be included.
Concise papers on topics falling within the scope of the Symposium (see Scientific Programme for more information) may be submitted. All papers, apart from invited papers, must present original work and must not have been published elsewhere.
In addition, authors must register for this Conference via the InTouch+ online portal, ([https://intouchplus.iaea.org/]) as described on the Conference Website. The online registration together with the auto-generated Participation Form (Form A) and Form for Submission of a Paper (Form B) must reach the IAEA no later than 15 April 2026.
IMPORTANT: Abstracts will only be considered by the Programme Committee if these two forms have been received by the IAEA through the established official channels.
The accepted abstracts will be reproduced in unedited form and will be available to all conference participants.
Nationality: this refers to the country that issued your passport. If the country is not present in the list, please email the organizers at Safeguards2026@iaea.org.
